We welcome Barfoot and Thompson again as our Platinum Sponsor for our 2018 Barfoot & Thompson Franklin Hospice Garden Ramble.
Through your support in 2016 we were able to raise $95,000 to provide specialist training for the palliative care nurses who provide superb care to terminally ill patients in the Franklin area. The funds have been used to upgrade nurses qualifications so the team is amongst the most qualified in palliative care in the country.
Our fourth event is now scheduled to take place on the weekend of November 10 and 11, 2018.
This year the gardens are located in Drury Hills, Ramarama, Great South Road, Tuakau, Pukekohe and the Bombay Hills areas of Franklin district. Again there is a huge variety in gardens - many hidden away from public viewing until this weekend. Gardens are open from 10am - 4pm each day of 10th and 11th November.
In addition to the Garden Ramble we will feature a Christmas market on Saturday 10th November (venue is the Ramarama School Hall in Ararimu Road - just off the SH 1 exit) with gifts for early bird Christmas shopping. This market will be even bigger and better with a wider range of stalls than previously.
Franklin Hospice invite you to make a weekend of it. Take a peek at some of these hidden garden gems, share lunch with friends at our refreshment stops en route and on Saturday call into our Christmas market for a bit of pre Christmas shopping .
Tickets will be available online from early August until Friday 9th November and after the 7th November these will need to be collected from the Christmas market. No tickets will be posted after Wed 7th November.
Tickets are also on sale at Franklin Hospice Shop, 27 King Street, Pukekohe Ph: 09 238 5082, Kings Plant Barn, Airfield Road, Takanini (09 298 8736), House of Travel Takanini, 30 Walters Road, (09 296 1801) and Sunhill Garden Centre, 317 St Johns Rd, St Heliers (09 521 1786).
