The Barfoot and Thompson Franklin Hospice Garden Ramble this year features 17 gardens located along the east and west sides of the Motorway (SH1) between Drury and Bombay Hills.
The gardens are all privately owned and so with the generosity of these owners we bring you a wide variety from formal to country, native to topiary and everything in between. These gardens are all new to the Franklin Hospice Ramble. Below is a selection from our photo gallery to give you an idea of what's on show.
The gardens are open both days of Sat 10th and Sun 11th November from 10am - 4pm - except for La Valla (Garden 18) which is used for weddings and is only open on Sunday.
Home cooked snacks will be provided in two of the gardens where you can get a hot drink and a sandwich/scone/savoury to have on the run !
Be sure to visit the Christmas market on Sat 10th Nov at the Ramarama School Hall in Ararimu Road before the gardens open for rambling.
Ramble through this woodland garden featuring perennials from yesteryear. Purchase these at the plant market in the garden.
This garden is a legacy from a devoted Mum and wife - framed with her love of colour and her design touch.

Split off from the family farm - this colourful garden comes complete with ponds and its own glow worm grotto
With a neighbouring nursery - this garden is spoilt for plant choice. A garden of stunning proportion and a vista to die for !
